Self - Government
"Self - Government essentially means self - reliance, self - restraint, self - discipline, self - denial, self - direction as contrasted with a system of government which places unlimited power in the State and its officials to restrain, control and direct and hence compulsorily to enslave and regiment the individual."
"................The world, after all, has survived without science or culture, but without intelligent self - government and the ability to get on with other communities, the world is doomed."

Wisdom of the OLD
"What can one say to words like that? Just nothing at all. That remark about the older generation was something of a body-blow and this boy's calm assurance of superior wisdom, due to having been born some years later in the world's history, was beyond argument, as youth is always beyond argument, and beyond warning, and always will be, according to the law of life, which makes human experience, the wisdom of the old, a milllion tragic lessons of the past, incapable of transmission."
